Sawyers Family | North Carolina Coast | Bend Oregon Portrait Photographer

Friday, May 11th, 2012

A few weeks back I was flying across country to visit a few of my favorite families from a lifetime ago, when I lived in North Carolina.  My favorite part of living on the east coast was the beaches.  It’s usually years between our visits, but each time we see each other, if feels like not a day has passed.

We’ve told stories several times, of how Pat was not one of my favorite people back in the day.  Today, he is one of the best fathers I know, with a huge heart and love for his family.  Erin, I met years later…this is a girl I wish I could put in my pocket and keep around all the time.  All we do is laugh…

I wanted to share of few of my favorites from our beach time in North Carolina.  We planned the light just right.  It couldn’t have been a more beautiful night.  This is a rather casual shoot, chasing the three Sawyers children around is no small task.  With names like, Bubba, Pnut, and Chunk….you know these three know how to have a good time.

Love you Sawyers Fam!  I only hope I did you all justice.
